Discover the Bordeaux region

Château Couffins is only 20 minutes from Bordeaux, so it is the ideal opportunity to visit the most trendy city in 2017 according to the Lonely Planet tourist guide. The Port de la Lune, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will seduce you with its history, its historic buildings, but also its prestigious vineyards and châteaux.

Also very popular, the town of Blaye, which is located 34 km from Château Couffins, welcomes many curious visitors every year, especially for its Citadel, a former military fort that is worth visiting.

A little closer to the castle, exactly 23 km away, a land of wine also known for its vineyard slopes, you can discover the village of Bourg sur Gironde, its small marina and its breathtaking view of the Gironde estuary.

River companies offer you cruises to discover the Gironde estuary with lunch stops on the islands 20 km from Château Couffins. Contact the tourist office Bourg-Blaye, "Terre d'Estuaire".

Finally, discover the Fronsac vineyards, 9 km from Château Couffins, with hiking or mountain bike trails, contact the Fronsac tourist office which will inform you of the seasonal activities.
